SAFETY PATROL
We are very proud of our AAA Safety Patrol program at Portsmouth Christian School.  This program was implemented to aid in the safe arrival and departure of our elementary students.  This is also a leadership opportunity for fifth graders.  Each spring rising fifth graders are recommended by their fourth grade teachers to apply to the program.  The patrollers are then selected and trained for the upcoming year.  This program has been a very positive experience for our students.  We have had several winners in the Hall of Fame contest that the local district holds each year.  We look forward to continuing the AAA Safety Patrol Program in our school.

SENIOR TRIP
The senior class takes a class trip once during the school year. Students are responsible for the payment, but as a class they have several “fun” fund raisers. The location and activities vary year to year.  Some of the places we have travel are Shroon Lake, NY, Bevard, NC, Orlando, FL, and Philadelphia, Pa.

LITTLE PATRIOTS
Little Patriots is a skill-based program that allows our elementary students to develop their sports related skills.  PCS coaches and athletes supervise this program. Little Patriots Program introduces students to a sport and allows them to develop their skill level while enabling them an opportunity to play at the next level. PCS currently offers Little Patriots Basketball for all students in grades 3-5.

SUMMER CAMPS
Sports Camps
Portsmouth Christian School currently offers summer sports camps. Campers will be immersed in the sport with focused, intense and extensive train­ing to help them improve their skills, learn more about the sport in general and have a great time playing the game.  Contact the MSHS Office at 757-393-0725 x103 for more information.
