Dear Parents,
The staff of our Extended Care Program at Portsmouth Christian Schools welcomes you and your children. We look forward to working with your children during this important time of their day. Our program provides a supervised environment to play, relax, eat a snack, and get some homework done. Our staff is here to help and guide the children in any way that is needed. Since we are an “extended” outreach of PCS, the same rules will apply that exist during the academic school day. The children will, however, be allowed to change into KNEE LENGTH shorts, jogging pants or suits in the afternoon.
We begin our Morning Care Program each school day at 6:30 a.m. downstairs in the Kindergarten Building. Mrs. Frye and Mrs. Raynor will be the workers in charge. All students arriving before 7:30 a.m. must be signed in. Our afternoon Extended Care Program is located in the Elementary/High School Building, and ends promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Extended Care facilities will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. This service is for Portsmouth Christian students only, and all children must be picked up promptly by 6:00 p.m. each day.

Guidelines
- Three days or more equals 1 week.
- Extended Care is for K4-5th gr. & 6th-10th gr.
- We offer this service for our PCS families only.
- $10.00 late charge per 15 min. after 6:00 p.m.
- Sign up at Orientation/Fill out forms.
- Extended Care is billed montly.
