DEMOGRAPHICS
The faculty, staff and students of Portsmouth Christian School represent a diversity of backgrounds. All faculty and staff members are Christians. Portsmouth Christian School is located in the Highland Biltmore area of Portsmouth, Virginia. Portsmouth is part of the greater Tidewater/Hampton Roads region which has a total population of approximately 1 million. The school location allows for an easy commute from Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk. Southeastern Virginia is a large mostly metropolitan community and home to a broad range of industrial and professional services. Because this area has a strong military presence and is host to the largest Naval installation in the United States, it inherently provides a diverse and transient population from which our student body is drawn.

CURRICULUM
Portsmouth Christian School offers a comprehensive curriculum to meet the needs of its students. The Biblically integrated program is designed and developed to prepare the student to perform well in the post-secondary educational arena and to be a productive member of society as they fulfill God's will for their lives.
